We study how MIMO can improve wake-up radios (WuR) for IoT devices. By using multiple antennas and beamforming, we achieve more reliable wake-ups and fewer false triggers compared to traditional SISO systems. Our simulations confirm that MIMO-assisted WuR is a more efficient solution for IoT networks.

We propose an angle-domain NOMA scheme for mmWave MU-MIMO systems that uses only users’ angular information to boost sum-throughput, especially in congested cells. By designing new clustering, user ordering, and power allocation strategies based on angular metrics, our approach improves spectral efficiency by up to 39% and enables more effective interference management.
